Overview

SabaccUI is a component library based on Nuxt, Tailwind, and Storyblok CMS, created by Coder's Cantina e.U. This license agreement outlines the terms of use for SabaccUI's components and templates.

License Types

SabaccUI offers two types of licenses:

  1. Personal License
  2. Team License (for up to 25 team members)

General Terms (Applicable to Both Licenses)

You Can:

  • Create unlimited End Products using the components and templates
  • Modify the components and templates to create derivative works
  • Use the components and templates for client projects
  • Create and sell End Products to End Users
  • Create open-source End Products that are freely available

You Cannot:

  • Create tools that allow End Users to build their own products using SabaccUI components or templates
  • Redistribute the components, templates, or their derivatives separately from an End Product
  • Create products that compete directly with SabaccUI

Personal License

Granted To:

One individual (the Licensee)

Additional Terms:

  • You cannot share your access with others
  • You are personally responsible for all usage under this license

Team License

Granted To:

Up to 25 Employees and Contractors of the Licensee (the company purchasing the license)

Additional Terms:

  • End Products must be the property of the Licensee or its Clients
  • Access to components and templates is restricted to Employees and Contractors of the Licensee
  • You cannot grant access to individuals outside your organization

Definitions

  • Licensee: The individual (Personal License) or company (Team License) purchasing the license
  • components and templates: Source code and design assets provided by SabaccUI
  • End Product: Any artifact produced using the components or templates
  • End User: A user of an End Product
  • Client: An individual or entity receiving custom services from the Licensee

Example Use Cases

Allowed:

  • Creating a website for you or your company.
  • Creating a website or web application for a client that will be owned by that client.
  • Creating commercial SaaS applications where end users have to pay a fee to use the application
  • Creating Self-hosted web applications sold for a one-time fee
  • Creating Open-source projects (where SabaccUI is not the primary focus)

Not Allowed:

  • Public repositories containing SabaccUI components or templates or derivatives thereof
  • Creating and distributing UI libraries based on SabaccUI components or templates or derivatives thereof
  • Converting SabaccUI templates to other frameworks for distribution
  • Creating "website builder" tools using SabaccUI components
  • Distributing themes or templates based on SabaccUI

Enforcement

If you are found to be in violation of the license, access to your SabaccUI account will be terminated, and a refund may be issued at our discretion. When license violation is blatant and malicious (such as intentionally redistributing the components or templates through private warez channels), no refund will be issued.

The copyright of the components and templates is owned by Coder's Cantina e.U. You are granted only the permissions described in this license; all other rights are reserved. Coder's Cantina e.U. reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for any unauthorized use of the components or templates outside the scope of this license.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coder's Cantina e.U. and its resellers for any third-party claims, actions or suits, as well as any related expenses, liabilities, damages, settlements or fees arising from your use or misuse of the Software, or a violation of any terms of this license.

Liability

Coder's Cantina e.U.’s liability to you for costs, damages, or other losses arising from your use of the components or templates — including third-party claims against you — is limited to a refund of your license fee. Coder's Cantina e.U. may not be held liable for any consequential damages related to your use of the components or templates.

Miscellaneous

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria and the applicable laws of Austria. Legal proceedings related to this Agreement may only be brought in the courts of Vienna. You agree to service of process at the e-mail address on your original order. If any provision of this license is to be held unenforceable, such holding will not affect the validity of the other provisions hereof. Failure of a party to enforce any provision of this license shall not constitute or be construed as a waiver of such provision or of the right to enforce such provision. This license represents the entire understanding between the parties with respect to its subject matter.

Disclaimer Of Warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of quality, performance, non-infringement, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS for a particular purpose. Further, Coder's Cantina e.U. does not warrant that the software or any related service will always be available.
